In a freezing cold, windy but thankfully dry morning the U9 Boys Royals played against Bentleigh at their home ground.
Bentleigh were a fast aggressive team giving our boys little time to react a big change from the last few easy games. Bentleigh stood close on goal kicks and chased hard. With the wind behind them Bentleigh quickly scored (2) goals in the first half off awkward center pitch passes. Midway through the first half Langwarrin settled and adjusted to the tempo and were able to make 2 shots hitting the post.
In the second half langwarrin dominated with 4 shots, 2 hitting the posts using space and widtg better but they were unable to equalise. A great close game 2-0 to Bentleigh with much learned.
