Victoria's own Langwarrin SC has become the first NPL Club in Australia to achieve FFA's National Club Development Program (NCDP) 5-star rating.
FFA recently launched the NCDP to assist administrators at football clubs with a model to maintain and enhance standards for the benefit of all members.
“Football Federation Australia recognises that grassroots clubs, including NPL, play an essential role in developing football across the country," FFA Member Services Manager, Jeremy Toivonen said.
“The NCDP was brought to life to help improve the processes and control mechanisms of all affiliated clubs. This, in turn, helps provide the best experience for the players, coaches, referees and thousands of volunteers that love our great game.
“Langwarrin SC should be very proud of the fact that they have not only completed the NCDP, but they are the first NPL Club across the country to achieve a 5-star rating (maximum).
“An achievement like this doesn’t happen overnight or by accident. It is through the dedication of a highly motivated team off the pitch, that drives such success.
“Congratulations to Langwarrin SC for this outstanding achievement.”
